World Tour
@ alphakennybody - Exactly, I'm glad I'm not the only that noticed that. This comparison is actually unfair for GT5.
Do you play games for fun or for business? Bobby Kotick would love to know.
A gamer that is a gamer that is a pathetic loser that at least knows how to spell properly?
Have a bubble for making me laugh.
Capcom is clearly going for a younger western, and therefore larger demographics. Problem is they are doing it at the expense of the established fanbase, which Capcom is assuming will still buy the new entry in the franchise. They are wrong! Many long time fans of DMC like myself will want nothing to do with it, and the game will flop so hard in Japan it's not even funny.
This should be an entirely new game, not a "reboot" of a successful and acclaimed franchi...
I hear you 360 fans enjoy rushed products. But we PS3 users don't mind waiting for our exclusives, so that by the time they are released we are rewarded with unrivaled quality. And the best part is that in the meantime, we still get to play all those multiplatform games that you so like to boast about.
See? I can be a fanboy too. I'm curious about the large amount of Xbox trolls on this article. Is there something wrong with Halo Reach?
In my opinion the GT series is the best racing simulator ever, because it provides the best graphics, the best handling and gameplay, a great soundtrack and the largest amount of content and features.
Now lets see you EXPLAIN in your own words what other racing game is better and why.
True, but the character design is just the tip of the iceberg. It symbolizes a radical departure from the franchise's mythos and style, that I'm not sure was desired by any fan. I certainly don't remember asking for it. It looks like a completely different IP!
Bottom line, throughout the years DMC has established a fanbase that came to expect a very specific type of gameplay/presentation/style/ experience from the franchise. This is not it. This is NOT it!
No intelligent life form on this planet is fond of the new Dante.
I'm going to laugh so hard when this game flops.

So they take a character that we know and love for years, turn him from badass goth/punk to generic emo and somehow we shouldn't care?! Can you imagine a Chuck Norris movie without Chuck Norris?!!!
Looks and style matter! That's why most of the girls we see on movies/TV/magazines are pretty.
This is no mystery at all.
The option to create a virtual PS1 memory card is there because all PS3s systems can play PS1 games.
The option to create a virtual PS2 memory card is there because there are still a few million PS3 systems that can play PS2 games and the firmware is the same for all models.
Amen to that! That is exactly how I feel: insulted!
I'm a big fan of Devil May Cry, but in my opinion, the deepest combat system belongs to Ninja Gaiden since the first game on the Xbox. Bayonetta became a close second recently, but I was hoping that DMC5 would do better.
Not that it matters anymore, because I now have zero hope for this game. I have every single DMC game including DMC2 and I will NOT buy this one. And it will fail in Japan too since it's western developed. What were they thinking?!
R.I.P.
Devil May Cry (2001-2010)
We hardly knew ya.
And hopefully both games in one blu-ray disc. I hear the games will be released separately in Japan.
I'll take mine with custom soundtrack support, please.
@ dem0n - Sure thing, how's this quote: "...and I get 10s for saying the truth"? Clear enough for you? I don't think my comment qualifies as a personal attack any more than your comment does.
EDIT @ below - He never said his opinion should be viewed (shared?) by everyone? Really? Because he clearly pushed his opinion as fact and then proceeded to question those who disagreed. In fact, if there's any personal attack here, it came from Natsu towards Hyriu...
Hell yeah! That was the movie that first turned my attention towards Nolan's work. I saw Memento and thought it was a great movie, I saw both Batman movies and thought they were great, then I saw The Prestige and realized Nolan was on a level of his own. That's when I became a fan. Inception is the best movie I've seen since Gladiator and one of my favorites.
